The focus of this thread is to provide details and discussion about our 2015 Spring Cruise. The removal of the page was to maintain that focus.

Been on max for a while now. Never been to a cruise yet due to things always coming up. In this time though, looking forward to meeting everybody

Alright guys. I ran the full route on Saturday and I'm happy to report that all the roads are open and passable by our cars. The views and curves are all as dramatic as ever with little to no traffic for the most part. It's a long day but extremely satisfying to complete.
Dinner will be at Kelsey's this time around, which is actually where we first stopped for dinner on this route in 2009. Lots of roadside stops are planned in order to re-group when necessary. Two break spots outside of lunch and dinner actually have portable toilets now (progress!).
Lastly, and this will hopefully be the first and last I have to go into this: There were all-caps headlines being passed around social media last week titled "EVENT NOTICE FOR MAY 2ND CRUISE CANCELLED" which was confusingly created by a group that has zero connection with maXbimmer or myself. What really happened was one person was asked not to attend. Any and all BMW enthusiasts who love to drive, follow rules, and support maXbimmer are more than welcome to join. We are all members of a bunch of silly social clubs and groups. Let's just drive and stop being dramatic. Now no more discussion on this.
I took some scenic shots for the uninitiated and excited alike. Can't wait!

+1 saw that, really confusing to people. Common courtesy is to ask for the organizers permission before piggy backing off someone else's event/hardwork and advertising it as your own.
Kinda like slapping your watermark on someone else's photos and parading around like it's yours...
You have the support of true members and enthusiast here.

hmmmm I wonder who that was? lol
If he's willing to go that far, unfortunately there's a good chance he'll show up just to cause shit, and it's not like you can make him go away as the cruise is on public roads. Even if you don't give him a route map all he has to do is follow the long line of BMWs.

I just want to apologize for any confusion this may have caused anyone. Throughout Maxbimmer's 14 year history in planning BMW events, we've never encountered such a low from anyone before. As we all know, Jay works extremely hard, and puts in a lot of effort in making these cruises run as smoothly as possible, so we can all enjoy a great day's event. This person had the tenacity to flat out lie to all the members, and try to sabotage Maxbimmer's Annual Spring Cruise to only benefit himself -Not cool!
Now, on a brighter note, lets kick off another great season with our Annual Spring Cruise 2015 this coming weekend!

Last year, as I mentioned the post of us not getting along, it seemed like you didnt remember the argument, and I was being dumb for holding a grudge, so i decided its silly of me to hold a grudge.
Please make note, I have been on here since 2011...and I support maxbimmer, and enjoy supporting everyone...yes I run a social group on FB and we get together for meets...lots of the guys here join us as well. I dont see why as BMW owners any of us should be divided.
In fact if you can give more substance to the post you quoted, people would know I was in that thread defending you and your car...I didnt agree with the haters in that forum dissing your ride. Im not out to hate on anyone.
At last years Autumn cruise you even gave us a shoutout at the cruise brief in the morning saying thanks for coming out. I didnt think we had any issues.
We are a social group...we dont own/run any forums...in fact our website links to the forums our members come from, including Maxbimmer.
Maybe on May 2nd its time we shook hands and actually met. Dont hate you or any effort you do in making events like this happen.
There is a divide between old and new BMW owners, im trying to end the divide...im happy to bring out people to your cruises.
I brought over 100 cars to Bimmercuise, Randy knows who I am and the support I give.
I think any BS is out of confusion...not because anyone here is not being genuine.

You said divide so many times I just had the linkin park transformers song play in my head on rewind!
Cant wait till saturday!

Awww yesssss.
Bone stock crew, checking in from the back of the pack! I don't think I can find a set of sticky tires between now and then, so I'll make up for it with bad jokes on the radio.
