I had more complaints on you than anyone else. Please stop coming to the events. Just last year you swore you would, on your own accord.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure he was one of the last guys to leave the lot at the meet spot in the morning, he hung back while everyone was rolling out, but when he did decide to leave he peeled a nice 180 in the lot.
I was like ughhh here we go

You knew what? I didn't come to the cruise, or to see you, I came to see a couple friends.

+1. Could someone PM me the route as well?
Wanted to come to the cruise but had already plans for the day a few weeks prior. I decided to drop by in the morning @ AMC to see how the turnout was.
I followed a red older generation M5 @ Kennedy exit off 401 exit. Damn it sounded amazing!

I was a couple cars behind you and saw that too.
My dad and I just laughed it off, though. I was just disappointed that I didn't get it on video.

Ok, people that want the route sent to them, PM me with your email address. There's no way for me to attach something to a PM.

If we want to rant...
The black 535i e34 cost me almost $1000 to replace the Vorsteiner lips by going off the road sometimes...but hey, what can you do it's a cruise and I know what to expect, no biggie...but try to keep your car in the lane and if you are starting to go off let the rest pass. I saw you pulled over later and hope it was nothing wrong with the car!

Im sorry to hear about your lip , but I wasn’t doing any affording during the cruise. Maybe you were following me too close. And Yes , car if fine , Thank you , just decided to end the cruise right there.

I'll politely rephrase my point. If at times I was following too close, that means that you should have let me pass you because I wanted to go a bit faster than you were. It would be more enjoyable to drive. I would have loved to go in front of you although I did not see the permission or acknowledgement that you would allow me to pass, and when you are giving your car everything it would be really unsafe for me to just get on the other lane and pass. FYI, driving directly behind you I can see your line, the times my car pulled back was from hearing all the dust and stones.
At the end of the cruise I noticed I was holding a few people back, I rolled down my window and waived them through with my right signal on. It is common courtesy. I guess you can say I too wanted to roll with the other M5s, and have my fun as well...unfortunately I will have to do it another time.
The reality is, there are cars and drivers faster than you (not you specifically, but in general to this board). I was not driving like an ass or trying to drift everywhere but clearly in this case my car has more ceiling than yours does in terms of performance.
If I did not have a brain on my shoulder, I was itching to pass at every chance and beleive me it would not take much to pass. I just do not have the balls for that. Not everyone has the same reserve, and that can lead to something fatal or life threatening if it was someone else with that kind of balls in my place. So take my advice and keep an eye on ALL your surroundings and be a courteous member, there is nothing to prove on the cruise.
Again, I am not trying to be a douche...but to say you drove always within the lines and did not kick any gravel up in your attempt to keep up with a pack of modded V8+V10 M5s isn't right.
Hope you keep this in mind for the next one.

Well written post. Couldn't have said it better.
And I really wish more drivers would acknowledge letting others pass safely... Some did (Jon, Randy, John V., a few of the E90 M3s, others I can't remember right now), and props to them. Notice a pattern? It's the older/OG members and those with 'more to lose' (if you know what I mean) that understand. Hence my preference to drive with these guys - it's just safer and thus more fun knowing they won't a) dip into gravel b) do any stupid moves when ego takes over c) let you pass if they don't feel like going as quick (not that they couldn't).
A grey E90 M3 and I were recipients of some shoulder gravel on numerous occasions from the black E34. Hell, I got hit in the face/sunglasses with some small rocks that were kicked up and flew through my side windows. You can imagine what it did to my car's front end, lol. We tried to stay as far back as possible without holding up the pack - until it got ridiculous and both of us had to seize an opportunity to overtake.
Anyways. Where are all the camera guys?! So many people taking photos and so few have posted!
Huge thanks again to Jay for organizing everything. Can't wait for the next event.
