I met you that morning at the meet, did you not end up going?

Spoony I couldn't have said it better myself!

P.S. The cruise was worth it just to hear Jays exhaust redlining those back roads, little clown shoe sounds INSANE and looks real pretty too

Jay... I get the frustration.

At the end of the day, it's YOUR show. You run it the way you want. If these entitled folks don't like it, F*** 'em. You know that people who truly appreciate your efforts will show up, like the group of us last weekend, rain or shine. Even with the weather, it was a great event! Please don't let a few complainers dampen that.

No sir, I came to the meet but didn't do the drive. Come to think of it, this was the first cruise I didn't partake in lol.

Made of a different kind of white.
Yup, it's been gone for a while now... Don't worry, this one sounds just as awesome - actually better

It must've been hilarious killing those twisties while being comfortable in a loaded SUV, lol! I love that freakin' truck. So badass, and you got the right color combo too.

Damn I would never sell a e39 m5 as clean as that car, if I had garage space I would have bought it! Local sale? One day I will own a e39 m5 and e30 m3 both must be red. Such timeless cars and in my opinion nothing will ever compare. Next house I build will have a 6 car garage minimum lol! X5m was a blast driving through those twisty roads and the comfort seats are a dream! Estoguy and I had a great time catching up to the rest when we got lost at one point later in the afternoon and the roads were actually dry in some spots that the 22" p zeros were being put to use. I love the truck too, took me around 6 months to find the color combo I wanted which was alpine on red or cinnamon and had to be last year of the e70 body which is 2013 with 50km or under and also the stunning adaptive led headlights. Paid a huge premium for this but bought it off a fellow m enthusiast and most importantly at the end of the day I'm super happy with the vehicle! Everyone calls it a truck but I just can't call it a truck as my main DD is my work truck which is a fully loaded 2010 Chevy 2500 tuned diesel, which is a real truck lol.

Ok let's get this straight, I am not complaining or asking Jay to do more work! It was a SUGGESTION, as a lot of events have the same system. IF it doesn't work, that's more than fine with me! JUST looking for a way more people can enjoy the cruise, THAT IS ALL. Over the years less and less people go to meets/cruises, so it's nice to see more faces at the same time.

I'm with Bimmer Heaven on this; rainy days are buzz kills. Even worse if you make the effort to go and then feel like your spending alot of energy for not alot of fun.

With the amount of time you spend planning, dont you want the final result to be perfect? Youre already in the mindset of doing a re-run, so just do it on a sunny day first time around.

With an alternate date, no need to do a re-run, 7 days doesnt change anything. If you find youre spending too much time planning these cruises, then spend less time, and advertise a possible fudge factor. Dont feel comfortable giving a solid alternate date? Give one at your leisure once you see rain come up for the initial date.

Ask for volunteers to pre-run routes for you, give route idea's, take volunteers to fully plan the whole thing, etc.

People dont complain for the sake of complaining, they want to enjoy the day just as much as you, calling them entitled or stupid or whiners or otherwise insulting them achieves nothing productive.

Of course if Jay would run another cruise people would come.... of course if the weather is nicer the cruise would be more fun.... I have attended rainy day cruises from Jay and yes there are just as great but there is that factor of the rain of which makes the ride a bit less enjoyable. Can 't really drive the same on a wet road as would be on a dry road....Can't really get to see much of the scenery cuz of wiper going back and forth...... I couldn't make it cuz of how i felt that Sunday morning watering eyes horrible headache and stuffed nose....I wasn't going to drive 900 kms in that condition....but if i was ok i would have shown up rain or not.........
Can' t Ask Jay to postpone the cruise cuz of rain..cuz some people don't feel like coming out in the rain.....and the nerve to ask Jay to have a back up plan the guy won't have a life any more....DO NOT BOTHER TO LISTEN JAY......but Would be nice if Jay decides to run another one any time soon..... even if it is the same route...... and it rains.... lol.

^^^Oh the "nerve" to make an honest suggestion!!! (IN hope to make it nicer for everybody). I am sorry if some people take it personal. I didn't think we were in high school. But I apologize if I offended anyone...

None taken.... im sorry if it came out that way ...no my intention to sound that way ....what i was trying to say is that the organizer of these cruises (Jay) goes throw a lot of time and effort to make the routes we ride on and to ask to postpone it to a later date is non beneficial..... besides i would rather go for a cruise on a rainy day then sitting at home doing nothing.... also people book time off to attend and if it's moved to another week might not be able to book it off again.....but i understand what you are saying..... im the one that im apologizing if it came out wrong..... i got peanut butter sandwich wana share

Well I'm curious if the repeat Spring Cruise is still happening... but yeah, Midnight Cruise... really wanted to do it last year.

What's the word, Jay?
