But seriously the Shell stop is halfway, or around 200-250km-ish

Awesome cruise as usual Jay! Rain slowed it down for a little bit but cleared up in time for the twisties.

Great cruise again!
Jay... question... if you know for sure someone is coming, would be willing to give a more northern meet point for those coming out of town? Angee and I could have seriously met you guys at lunch and not really missed anything. LOL Would save on some drive time if you could accomodate that.
Otherwise, awesome route. We fell behind because of traffic on 507, but had a great run down. Who was that in the white X SUV who caught up with us? That was a damn good ride to catch up! I do have some video... need to check it out!
And where was the rest of the E30 crew? I was the only one... you guys afraid of getting wet or something?

Right on Tom!
I'm a bit disappointed in my video... just doesn't seem to convey the speeds we were at to catch up. LOL Need to find a way to mount it so the speedo could be seen... cause we were flying down 507.

Thanks for coming out everyone! The truly hardcore were the only ones to join the cruise so for the very first time I didn't have to worry about poor driving or speeds that got too high. Everyone could handle their own and we could really get the lateral G's up there as a group. Loved it!
For those who missed out...I'm running the route again. I'll announce a June date in the coming weeks. Between the lack of a beachside patio lunch (still had a great time inside the bar though), sunny skies, and windows down cruising moments I feel like waiting a year to do these roads again would be a mistake. So keep your eyes open for the encore.
Thanks again.

Definitely love the cruise! Great job planning everything out Jay! Really had an awesome time seeing what my car was able to do and be able to push it a little with a great group of drivers!

I was secretly hoping for a second run given that it happened a few times in the past and the crap weather ruining some of the coolest parts of these events (like you mentioned: patio dinner, windows down driving, pit stops by the waterfront).
Huge thanks for investing the time and resources to do these time and again.

Had a great time as I always do. Thank you to Jay for organizing and to the people who still came out despite the weather! Hoping to see a round 2 (hopefully with nicer weather) sooner rather than later.
To the gentleman in the black E46 sedan on Style 5s, good driving - most of the time. It was really not cool of you to gun it every time Matt (purple E36) and I were trying to (safely!) pass you, effectively blocking us from being able to do so. You were holding us up through the twisties, braking hard before entering the fun corners and then accelerating on the straights, kind of ruining it for anyone following you. If you can't keep up in the corners (which there's nothing wrong with), FOR THE LOVE OF GOD LET US BY OR LET US PASS YOU. I don't demand a point by or for you to pull over for us, but if we're highbeaming you from the passing lane wondering why you're gunning it while we're trying to pass, there's something wrong.

If i might suggest something; why don't we have a backup date setup from the begging!? It IS Canada after all...we never know it it would be +20 or snowing in spring! I LOVE the spring cruise, like ALL of your events, but Sunday was so miserable I couldn't get myself to do anything fun...
