Arrow maXbimmer Autumn Cruise 2015 - Sunday September 20th

Date: Sunday September 20th
Time: 9:30am meet ~10:00am departure
Location: Dave & Busters. 120 Interchange Way, Vaughan

The last hurrah! It's time for our annual Muskoka Region exploration exercise. Where our goal is to take in as much of the region in one afternoon as possible. Or at least that's what the speeds often suggest. The route is long (almost 400km round trip) and the roads selected are as twisty, challenging, and scenic as Muskoka has to offer.

(Update: Route details posted in a reply below) The route is still being finalized (I don't like to check too early, as road conditions deteriorate fast and closures/construction pop up quickly), but as you can see above we're aiming for an earlier start to the day so that (if weather allows) we can enjoy a warm patio lunch rather than the usual 5pm sunset coldness that Autumn brings up north. This will also require a complete restructuring of the route in general, so if you've been before get ready for some new roads!

I will post an update a few days before event with a bit more info once everything is set. Just keep the date free!

Jay

Don't use Highway 141 - about 5 km west of Rosseau... the bridge there is completely closed until October. Structural issues or some shit like that.

Nice to see it happening earlier this year! Hopefully the weather will be as nice as last time!

I'm wondering if anyone would like a passenger? (... or maybe driver at times? )

I live in Downtown Toronto now for school so I sold my E36 and already have my 350Z in storage for the Winter back home.

I'll bring my camera along and take some rolling shots of everyone!

Let me know, I'd love to still be able to join in on the fun this year.

I've been able to book off. I'll be there and I'll be bringing a camera too.

Apologies... that should be 5km EAST of Rosseau. However, information still the same, bridge out until end of October.

Just curious, how many cars do you usually get out to this event?

Thanks for the tip estoguy, I did avoid 141. bbsupersport, anywhere from 30-100 cars usually. The Autumn Cruise turnout tends to be on the lower end of that scale.

Thanks Mystikal,
I love that area that time of the year, and this cruise sounds like a great way to enjoy it! Kudos to the organizer! ( I assume that would be you )
I'm in the process of buying my first BMW (research stage) and look forward to a similar future event!
All the best!

I did 141 on the bike 3 weekends ago and it was fine except for one bridge. This year's trip will be spectacular.
