During another stop (in the town area) I remember (and I wont name which car) another dude going back and forth and almost hitting a truck while we were all parked on the side in a row. There were a few awesome drivers out there (including one older grey Bimmer- I followed his car with pleasure- in fact he was waving guys to go by him if they needed to). The key is to keep a good distance- some cars were following too close and being a little too aggressive. I don't need to prove myself to anyone. If you were following me too close- just go by me if you need. I always keep a safe distance (a few car lengths or more) behind another car. A little maturity and class helps. Otherwise, an awesome route.
I concur.

On the last leg of the cruise you kept a good distance behind me which was nice, by the way. Good on you for that. Also, the colour of your car is absolutely gorgeous.

For future reference, if anyone ever wants to pass me, just give me a little flash with your high beams and by all means I'll move over for you. I had a few instances where people made horribly unsafe passes around blind corners to get around me (I've got it on camera, I'll dig up the file later) which was most definitely unnecessary.

That'd be me. Thanks, by the way.

Yup, you kept a good distance and were a pleasure to drive with as well. Thanks. The three of us (you, I and the white 535i) had a pretty good pace going on for a while there.

Pictures and video will be up within the next few days. I had a great time and I'm glad I came. Thanks to Jay for organizing everything. I'll see you all the next time for sure.

Sounds like this was a great cruise as usual!!! Only complaint i have to make is PLEASE DONT make them on a long weekend! I'm sure many would agree, with a short summer, almost ever long weekend is accounted for with other, bigger plans!

I will echo everyone else's comments, great route, great group of gorgeous cars.
The highlight was when we ran into that supercar cruise, O boy, there were some excellent cars that drove past us and that F10 M5 was straight out of the BMW catalog with its white interior and blue exterior.

I guess I am one of the lucky ones who did not encounter any OPP.
MY car was having a bloody seizure, I drove with no DSC/ABS for a good chunk of the twisties when my battery positive cable came loose and disconnected which is why I had to pull over for 5 minutes to reconnect.
I got a nasty stone chip in my windshield (THANKS DEVON!!lol) and I don't even want to see what the front end of my car looks like after the few blastings of stone and sand my car received.

Great nonetheless.

When did you guys end up finishing? By the time we stopped for lunch we were around 30-40min behind schedule. My car had been overheating on that slow drive around the lake shore and lost some coolant (found a small split in a hose right beside a hose clamp that only seemed to leak when the car was really hot). I topped it up in the parking lot and then headed out to do the route on my own because I had a dinner engagement in the evening that I was hoping to be back for but at the rate we were going I didn't feel like that was going to happen.

I made it to where the cruise was about 10-15km east of Haliburton and then I got a flat tire. That was at about 3:30pm. By the time I got it changed, had a snack and took a look at my map it was close to 4pm and no cars had passed by yet. I decided that I wasn't going to press my luck seeing as I had a coolant hose that could potentially rupture at any time and a spare tire that although had 0km on it was probably pretty old, so I decided to head home. I got back to the 401 at Oshawa around 6pm.

So many numbnut drivers in the cruise but it was great apart from that. It's fine to do that in a track, not a good idea on public roads.

We finished the cruise around 7:00pm in Peterborough. I finished dinner at Boston Pizza and left @8:00pm (while everyone else stayed back) because of a prior arrangement (fireworks) back home for 9:30pm.

Cruise was great, stone chips were not. Thank God for my 3M bumper wrap. The small areas that were missed by the wrap are definitely visible. I feel for anyone with virgin unprotected paint.

The A$$hat with the girls in the red E46 M3 convert... why??
-why try drifting every intersection?
-why pass every car you can?
-why attempt a donut U-turn @McDonalds parking lot?

Do you really have to impress pussy that badly?

Great time as always! I missed these things so much lol and it was great to see everyone! Thanks Jay for taking the time to organize this!

The Vorsteiner pieces got the worst of it, I should have clear bra'd those with Mark when we got the hood done.

I had a blast first time out. Other than blowing my rear shock maybe lol.

Ps you guys drive too fast. Literally making it look like you're on the track.
Couple really unsafe drivers out there. This coming from a 21 year old kid. Lol

Some people have serious track experience from the cruise, so what is fast to you, isn't fast to them.

This is who I was referring to as well. He passed the group of cars in front of me around a blind corner. Had a car come around the corner he (and I or anyone around him) would have been squished. Not cool.

Don't worry. You didn't miss anything. You are better off doing this by youself than with a bunch of idiotic drivers.
