Spare Tire Kit or Slime Kit for X5 ??

Looking to ditch the Run Flats but want a little peace of mind in the trunk in case we get a flat.

Any idea of cost in Canada for a space saver spare tire kit? And same if I get the slime kit with a compressor?

What do others do?

I use an OEM steel rim shod with the skinniest tire available with the proper overall diameter. Alternatively try an OEM spare tire kit; tirerack.com might have what you're after (at least they used to have it for the 3-series)

Thanks for the reply. If I go with the spare wheel option then I'll also have to purchase a jack, etc. So, leaning toward the slime kit for now. Don't need to pull the trigger until spring so have some time to think ot over.
