Midnight Cruise 2017 - Saturday August 19th
Route is set. We have gone this direction only once on any cruise, and even still I have completely re-sorted how we approach the area and the roads we travel on. Highways, twisty backroads, long and loud tunnels, epic nighttime scenery, it's all in there. There are a total of three Tim Horton's meeting points on the route so you can get caffeine and/or use the washrooms while we wait for everyone to arrive. The total distance including the drive back to the GTA is about 275km, and we will probably be back at around 4-5am.
You need a smartphone with these two apps in order to keep up easily: Google Maps and Pathshare. I will provide a Google Map link with the full route at the start of the cruise to everyone in attendance. Click navigate on that link and you will have everything you need. Pathshare will allow all of us to track where each member of the cruise is currently, as well as cool other details (username, current speed, etc). This one is extremely helpful as it allows me to see when traffic lights (or, you know, law enforcement) separate the group, as well as lets you see exactly what direction to head if you fall behind for whatever reason.
Meet location: Tim Hortons, 780 S Sheridan Way, Mississauga, ON L5H 1Z6
Date: Saturday August 19th
Time: 11:30pm meet, 12am driver's meeting followed by group departure
Oh and happy 15 years, Midnight Cruise and cruisers alike.

A few things:
- The original location was not La Paloma. It was Krispy Kreme Scarborough before it shut down.
- Central to everyone is debatable. I'd say maX skews a bit towards the west of the GTA, and the median would probably land around the 427 area if not further west.
- We are not going anywhere north. There is no point for the 90% of us who do not live in Vaughan or north of there to drive up the 400 just to drive back down it.
- It absolutely can fit 50+ cars at 11:30pm.
- 50+ cars haven't shown up to a maX cruise in years.
Hope that clears up your concerns.

This was one of the most epic cruises ever! The tunnel run was phenomenal...Too bad I have to miss it this time, something just came up and need to be out of town.
