Question Detroit Autoshow

When are all you guys going? I'm going either this weekend or the next with my friend Harrison (Bavarian-E30) and some other friends. See you in the Bimmer section! Also I think it would be cool to meet some of you guys.

The thing is most of the members here are from Torono and it's about 4-5 hours drive down to Motown and it's winter. Im sure you guys will enjoy the show. Post some pics for us.
On behalf of Max if you will,,,thanks for the invite. Enjoy

Detroit Auto Show, it's bigger and better.... anyone else?

I was going to go tomorrow or Fri with my G/F (she's been bugging me for the past 4 years to include her)... weekends are murder... the crowds really make the whole experience a chore. Other than that, I definetly recommend going.

The fastest and cheapest was is to park in downtown Windsor (close to the Casino) right beside the bus terminal (it's like $5/day) in the parking garage. Take the transit bus (around $2.50) it goes directly to the show, via under the tunnel to the Cobo Center in Detroit. Make sure to bring the proper ID for customs too.

I don't really feel like going this year... I thing I'm going skiing instead on Fri. I guess after seeing the Essen show, i'm kinda de-sensitized.

I've been wanting to go for the last couple years, I may go this year now that I'm unemployed over the winter.

LOL, yeah i do work... right now i'm a little slow so i'm taking advantage of the free time I have (it was crazy busy all last year). I quoted a shit-load of jobs and expect a response soon, looks like this summer is gonna be another busy one again. Most of the time I try and shape my work schedule around my G/F's days off... in this case i'll be working Sat and Sun so I can be with her tomorrow and Fri.
