Problem with this particular muffler on a 3 series is the fact that it is only a single inlet. 325/328's are a dual inlet muffler, so this one won't work.
This will work great for a 318 or a 320 though...

Holy crap, this hasn't sold yet? Man its a steal. Oh BTW to whoever mentioned this muffler can be found cheaper, I highly doubt it because I used to work at Canadian Tire, and retail was just a touch shy of $300 so I doubt that shops can sell it for nearly half the price. I'm sure that Crappy doesnt make that much markup on it either. The tips on this muffler are nearly $70 each if you buy them seperately.
To all who complain about their 3 series' thinking its to restrictive because its not dual inlet, give me a break, thats a lame excuse. I would only agree to that arguement if you had 300+hp. Even if its the case, big deal. The bit you will lose in power will probably make up for in torque, which is what most of you drive on the street anyways. Most wouldn't even feel the difference anyways. Most of that 'difference' would be in your heads, and not in the butt-dyno lol.
Again, good luck with the sale!

You can always mount it backwards and get a single-in/dual-out tip addon.
edit: Just saw it has 3" tips, don't know if that would work. What size are the 325/328 pipes?
