It actually is 2.5" at the muffler! More then enough for a 325...!

Naw it's ok.. i found the muffler i need yesterday just have to order the tips separate thanks tho  ... My 325 is not stock..

isnt the e36 325i muffler system a 2 inlet/2 outlet configuration?

2.5" ID or OD? I always understood this muffler to be 2.25" ID (meaning smaller than stock area).

When you cut the muffler at the inlet it is 2.5"...
