Click on the picture of the wheel to get a larger photo of it. Click the bubble with the ? in it to get details which cars/dates/offsets/sizes the wheels came on.

I knew about this site before but I didn't realize you can click on the question mark bubble.
Check out style 32's, looks like they made some for e36? but the offset is like 41 or 47, how can that be?

Yeah, BMW Accessories part. That offset is correct.

Know what's funny? After I read your post and while the images were still loading, I thought to myself "I wonder which wheels those are, because I think the M Parellel's and the CSL wheels are the best".

Offset for e36 is 41 or 47? What do you mean by accessories part?

Either one works. Real ballers would get the 18x8.5" ET41 all around and use small spacers in the front to clear the strut. Although the 17x8 ET47 would be nice too.
Accessories is/was BMW's aftermarket catalogue name. The wheels also came on some Z3's from the factory.

The specs for the 67M (18" and 19") for the e46 M3 isn't working
I used 1010tires.com to compare the offsets of the stock 18" rims with the recommended 17" winters and they weren't matching! However, the parts guy at BMW didn't say anything about "spacers" so I'm not sure what advice I should follow
So frustrating this stuff...
EDIT:
So I googled it (couldn't find the offsets on any of the 6 forums I searched) and got:
18"
Front: 18 x 8 ET47
Rear: 18 x 9 ET26
19"
Front: 19 x 8 ET47
Rear: 19 x 9.5 ET27
17" Winters
Front: 17 x 7.5 ET47
Rear: 17 x 7.5 ET25
How are these tires supposed to be interchangeable without affecting the dynamics of the car (e.g. wheel bearing/whatever) without the addition of spacers?!
Found another good link (if you sprechin ze deutsche) lol:

Those are perfect specs for an E46 M3. You'll be fine.
BTW, the BMW ETK lists all of these specs. www.realoem.com

Thanks, Jay! I assume the only drawback with going with the 17" winters cited above is that they will not fill the wheel well as nicely as the 9" stock rims, right? I guess that's a sacrifice I'm willing to make for safety.
With the 225/50/17s, would using a 20mm spacer (to push the tire out more like the stock 245) and the associated longer lugs cause noise that some forum members have observed, or any other safety-related side effect?
Thanks again!
