Wow some nice shots! Makes me want to take a drive up there to see these fine automobiles..
For a spooky place I'd love to go to that Psych Ward in Whitby...

I got a quick glimpse of the black 635CSi through the small window in the back and hope the owner decides to eventually put that one in the showroom as well. From what I understand it should be in equally pristine condition too.
There's more than enough room in there to put at least 2 more cars.

Sorry about being late to the party. This thread has been a great read. I have wondered about this dealership myself because I heard all the stories too.
However, I highly doubt it's the same owner as the former Downtown BMW store. As many of us know. Mr. Hammer has alot better things to do with his time and money...such as operate his other 16 or so dealerships (Including Canbec BMW)
As for that exotic dealer who used to be on Parliament. Caliber still exist but are on The Queensway now and continue to sell exotic cars. I sold for him breifly. He is still there.
Thanks for the pics of the 6er. I'd love to own that car!

awesome pics WhadUpp! I still can't believe you shot those pics through the window! I guess the circular polarizer and your 50-200 lens works wonders.

I haven't had time to read the whole thread (got to page 7 so far and am getting busy at work, so thought I'd post), but here's some further info that hadn't been mentioned up to that point...
The owner's name was Helmut, something. My dad bought an E30 325is from there in the early 80's, as we lived just down the street on Aspen Forest Dr., for those of you who know the area well.
It was one of only a few dealerships around back then, the next closest being Gulliver's in Hamilton. The Canadian importer back then was the father of Jockem (sp), now owner of Auto West and Hino (sp), who sold to what is now BMW Canada.

it's quite possible that when the property was sold to the new owner the contents and everything re: the property went with. Chances are the guy who owns it didn't even visit the place to know it's there. If he does know he can't be bothered since he probably has a shit load of money where he honestly couldn't care less. I'm sure the guys who rented out the shop know about it.

Shit, that`s pretty sick. I`m going to call a real estate agent to see if there is any way I can get some information on that property and owner.

Oh the fun it would be tearing those cars apart to replace all the rotten rubber, old gasoline, and cracked tires.

Ive been asking this for years now!!!!!!!!!! I want those cars!! I heard that it used to be a bmw dealership, then he lost the franchise, and basically went kinda loopy. He still maintains the place but chases ppl off the property, the cars have just sat there tho for years. Probaby the mintest e28 and 635csi in the world. I want that property sooooo badly!!!
