325is m20 turbocharged, m30 turbocharged going in soon.
Excuse the labeling of the pics, I have had kids looking at my website and asking questions after, so thought it best doing it for them.
All this came about because one kid actually did a science project and used some of my info and pics for it, he got 97% so all his buddies wanted to see my site

looks good Striker is that a custom setup?... is that a wideband o2 sensor? i've heard that they are best placed 3ft. down the dowpipe and @ a 10degree angle up to get the best reading possible, having it so close to the hotside of a turbo can affect the readings i've been told...

It's our custom built kit for the BMW e30 with the m20 engine.
Makes sense but my O2 sensor worked fine. You can see more of the project on my older webiste
http://www.torkndork.com/bmw_325is_turbo.htm
Now working on the 3.5L m30 engine to drop into the e30 and then turbocharge it.
Thanks for the comments

Thanks Dude, that was jsut a quick set up to test the m20 kit we created, the m30 turbochrged swap will be really nice and clean. I will have some more bling to it, powdercoated valve cover, chromed piping for the turbo, ceramic coated turbo manifold etc.
I want to make it both very pratical and a bit of a show piece as well.

Depends on boost you are running and what stage. I was running close to 10 PSI with no probles non intercooled as a stage one app. Our stage two would have an intercooler and stage three full ignition and fuel management with data logging.
Many turbo kit manufacturers have their kits and upgrades this way. it does two things, meet the needs for perople with different financial levels and various performance needs as well.
We are getting the intercooler cores a bit cheaper now so might build a few smaller intercoolers and add it to stage one kits for people wanting stage one.

10psi non-intercooled is risky business man, what are your egts like? is the car tuned? what kind of fuel management are you using? generally speaking 5psi is the max I've heard of guys running with no intercooler setup, then from 6-15psi you can use a Talon/Eclipse SMIC without worry of heatsoaking it and then from 8-40psi+ FMIC are used in varying sizes. I'm in no way trying to tell you how to build your setup, but rather just trying to help keep another boosted car alive .
