Cold Start Problem !!!

Hi all,

my troubles continue !!

It takes 3- 5 tries to get my car started after its been sitting for more than 4 hours ( cooled all the way down )

I have brought it to one place and they thought it was the Fuel Pump and changed it .. Of course that wasnt the problem and now they wont even answer their phone at the shop or call me back from the messages i have left.

Any ideas what it could be

Won't answer your phone calls??? What kind of a freaking shop is that??

Anyways bmw's are very weird (from what I have experianced so far). Mine I just changed the starter, it starts fine most of the time but sometimes I will shut the car off and then I will try to start it and it won't?? weird hey.

I also own a 91 legend and the car for the 4 years I have owned it has never NOT started, never had a problem in that department at all, but has a very harsh ride on bad roads, unlike my bimmer.

I wish I could help you dude, anyone else??

Goto another shop for god sakes, you've had nothing but trouble ever since you started going there.

its probably the fuel pressure regulator dunno get it checed sorry about the news on the bimmer y dont u got to this place ive heard about and they do great jobs on cars its called CHUCks AUTO look under the yellow pages or go to this place called bimmerhut where they instal and also sell bmw performance engines body panels etc. good luck

i went back today and gave them shit...

I said i am not paying anymore and they said they will find the problem..... i was going to bring it to chucks auto but they were busy ..then i brought it to this plce and thats where my FUN began...

They knew i was pissed so hopefully it will be done right.... or else

Just tell them if they try toscam you, you will mention their name on this forum, and tell them that most of the people on the furum are from the same (wich they probably are) are.
