They are probably heavy and Id watch for potholes but for summer cruising should be alright, watch out for chipped paint if you drive your car through all conditions.

No matter eventually most rims get trashed anyhow. Just buy them

i didnt mean thats what im getting im just saying buying new tires is a bad investment cause they loose so much value when you go to sell them

a new tread is like 300 per tire u drive it to 80% u might see 175-200 for it

times that by 4 u saved yours 400-500 bucks on tread by buying used

If you can find that 80% tires for sale...that'd be awesome. I can't speak for anyone else, but I would most likely drive my tires till they're done, unless they go bumpy or noisy or something else wrong. Rexpwr's prices are awesome...185 for a NEW tire, with no taxes. However, I don't think he has any 18 inchers left. He told me he may be getting some Toyo T1-s later....you should check with him, if you get the wheels.

What are the purpose of these rims? Mainly street, track, etc...

Remember, like a lot of things, shop this way:

Price, weight, strength......pick two.

You can have cheap and light, but it won't be strong
You can have cheap and strong, but it won't be light
You can have light and strong, but it won't be cheap

This is how I used to buy my bike parts....

usually ive seen peeps sell their tread with that much left is cause bashed rims or getting new rims, i agree on my 17" tires ive worn them down till there is absoloutly no tread left!

i mentioned before these rims would strictly be for street cruisin and just messin with on the st, ide pick up a shittier pair of rims to beat on at the track with r compounds

they look very similar to my rims. The middle part can't be flush as it would hit the calipers... only time it could be flush is if you go widebody.

Anyway, they look sexy...
