I believe thats from a E36 with SMG, never seen how it looks exactly, not too sure if the heated seats should be there or if thats just a custom job, but that looks pretty good!
Your car is auto?

no, it's manual...but I'm pretty sure that same design will be for manual... (shifter wise). Yeah I'm sure if the heated seats there is a custom job either... but it kinda looks like it... ?

That is an SMG shifter with an aftermarket shift knob. You can see the SMG display wher ethe sunglass holder is.
Racing Dynamics makes gated shifters for the e36, I actually believe that a Max member has one.

Ya, i was lookin at buying the RD gated shifter, it looks AMAZING, IMO, and i've always loved that look!
Only problem, it'll burn one helluva hole in your pocket, it costs 399 USD, something like that!

If you really want that boot/knob look, they sell kits for regular shifters on E-bay.

Ya but its not just a round knob, this is a proper gated shift kit!
comes with the gated gears, and the THIN metal poll with the big ball on the end!
That sounds dirty!
hehe, but ya, it looks AMAZING!

That looks like an auto shifter from a 3.0i tranny (330, x5, pre 2004) mated to SMG as Thinair said.
