From Black to Silver
Hey,
I know the painting of M-tech moldings have been talked about numerous times - but here's my questions:
1. Who has done it.. and how much did it cost you? I'm thinking of painting OEM M3 bumper, M-tech moldings, and door handles.
2. What places will do a good job and not ding doors (sorry DJContra) while painting the stuff? I was talking to European Autobody - but i keep getting this annoying Andrew guy who seems to be a ripoff artist.
3. Any other tips?!
Thanks

DO NOT TALK TO ANDREW!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ONLY talk to Emillio (Owner) or Manuel (His son). Manuel was a nice guy and helped me VERY well.
When my car was there being fully repainted I asked them to watersand and paint the M mouldings all around. It cost me $400 from European Autobody.
I highly recomend that you go to them though. A++ work.

400$ all around, BimBap, call me, way way cheaper then that for sand blasting, priming, factory colour and clear coats.
Only BimBap guys, I can't provide this service to everyone.

If you guys want, I could hook any maxbimmer members with the shop that my dad's dealership(My family owns a dealership) deals with. You all seen my car's paintjob. Its the same guy that did my car. at a probably a discounted price.

I love the look of colour-coded stuff, I did mine myself 'cos I have a spray gun and compressor. I did the beadings all round, handles and side indicators.

Nice job!!! BMWs should roll out of the factory with matching trims and mouldings, IMO.
