the vortech FMU is a boost dependent fuel regulater, when the boost goes up the fuel goes up in laymen terms...

I puted a Vortech FMU 10:1 looks like yours... I noticed that my tubocharged bimmer stopped pingin in third gear, then I putted a fuel press gauge and noticed that the press is twice when boost is present...

I mean, ping it's like knock, likr the knock sensor, I think most of people call it pinging!
Currently I'm runing 4 PSI at full throttle, I noticed when I boosted like 10 PSI once, started to pinging, even with the FMU, probably I need a biggers injectors and most imoportant, retard the ignition, thing what I will do soon as I install the SMT6 module unit...

at 4 PSI I'm not sure how much HP I'm doing, probably is making 180 RWHP at max, with 10 PSI I think you can get arround 215-220 RWHP...
