Angry 2002 Bmw m3 worth

This might sound like an inexperienced question, but how much would a 2002 stock BMW M3 sitting at 168000km be worth ?I know there is no exact price but i would like to know approximately the price ranges. I'm planning to get an M3 in the near future, and would like to get the best M3 for my price. I'm seeing them go for about $15k and would want to know if that's a good price.

Post a link and we'll tell you.

Options, condition, title, and maintenance history matter a lot.

170k is around the time when expensive suspension components need replacing.

"approximately the price ranges" add up to a lot nothing...You can get it for $10K (or less in the US) to $30K+, so this is the approximate range! It all comes down to what you get for your $$$, and how much you have to spend later on at fixing things.

If they've repaired all the issues it used to have, then possibly. We talked about that one on here before, try and search for the discussion.

at that mileage there are a few things to consider to properly value an m3:

Service records?
Vanos (has it been upgraded or not, if not expect to spend $$ after buying)
Rear subframe reinforcement (expect to have cracks unless properly reinforced)
Suspension (expect to spend $$ on bushings, end links, top hats, etc unless they have been replaced recently)
upgrades: keep in mind for these cars upgrades do add value (ie bbk, CSl parts, suspension, etc)
last but not least: Rust and cleanliness (has it been winter driven? what is the condition of interior?)

I would not settle for anything less than 19k for mine (02 - 160k) with all the above taken care of. Other things to consider is condition of the tires and brakes, add 1.5-2k if tires and brakes have been recently replaced. Also expect to dish out more for a manual and non-convertible, smg and convertible are generally valued less

Good luck with your search

That Phoenix Yellow one used to be a former Max member's car I believe. Looks awesome - no idea about history/pedigree though.

Simply put, you probably won't get a clean/high quality car for under 15-17k.
