He's just fishing, not likely someone would pay that much for an e30 with that many issues especially this time of the year.

It does however have a pretty clean body and interior from what I can tell in the pictures.

I would say the lack of driver seat bolster pictures probably tells a different story.

Even if the bolster shows some wear, you have to admit that interior is pretty clean for an e30. The cardinal actually looks good.

Definitely agree that it looks pretty darn good for the age.

Knock two grand off and it's actually almost sensible. E30s are climbing in value quite impressively.

ever since the E30 M3 became ridiculously priced the lower end E30's have begun to gain some more than regular popularity. Now at least some of the E30 tuners can begin to return some of the crazy money spent on their E30's by selling them. But like Terry said who's buying them?? I see E30 M3's don't have a problem selling for $20,000+. It's a very expensive start on a car which most likely will turn into a project of some sort..better off buying a e36 M3 which are beginning to look like a bargain for what you get!

I've seen plenty on kijij and autotrader. The only thing your correct on is the rust.

It's more like...ever since Lemons and Chumpcar racing started the price of E30's has continually gone up. All of the cheap beaters have been consumed by those budget racing leagues and now even relatively clean E30s are getting bought up to get stripped and caged.

no you haven't. the 325ix coupe is very rare, especially in manual, and was never sold in canada like fil said. the production numbers for the states are low too.

there are a few imported ones from the USA on kijiji but you really can't say plenty.

btw i picked up my 1990 325ix coupe, 5spd, for 1300$ on kijiji. it was in pretty comparable shape to the one listed above (zero rust, interior slightly more worn)

Actually, manuals are much more common.

325ix Coupe manual - 2,095
325ix Coupe auto - 769

325ix Sedan manual - 1,351
325ix Sedan auto - 2,131

I think you guys need to start realizing that the numbers of e30's are dwindling. Think about how many people just on this forum are buying shitty ones and parting them out. It didn't take long for them to become more and more rare. That said the overwhelming majority of the ones that are still around are not in good shape, with rusty floors, sub frames, body panels, ripped up interiors etc. Clean ones are very VERY hard to come by, and I don't mean a 7/10, I mean a 9/10 or better. That said for those few out there that qualify you're going to have to pay the price for admission, and believe me there are many people out there than would pay it just to relive some of the past. How many times have you been driving around in your e30 and someone comes up to you and says "oh I used to have one of those" and then fondly reminisses with you.........? I know you'll always find a one off scenario when someone stumbles accross a clean one for really low money because the seller is just trying to get rid of it quickly and really doesn't know what they have, but outside of that rare sceanrio values have gone up tremendously over the last couple of years.

To Stephens point, just check out any chumpcar field and there are easily a dozen or more e30's in the field. I know, mine is one of them!!!
