BMW production data. [UPDATE 08/19: F31 LCI NA-market added]
If you want to know how many cars were built in your color/upholstery combination or how many were built with or without a particular option, post your VIN(last 7 characters) and I'll reply to you with your data.
At this point I can provide data for all BMWs that were introduced in the North America after 1983 up to models that have finished production (for example, pre-facelit G12 data is available, but no LCI data since it's still in production). For other markets I got data for all M cars, again from 1983 to the end of production, and a handful of other regular models.

would be interesting to know how many was built. At the dealer I purchased it, they had two of them but the other one had manual gearbox but way expensive.

46 - 2006-2010 BMW M5 Sedan (NB93) - NA painted in Silverstone 2 Metallic (A29) with Black Extended Merino Leather (LKSW) interior were built for Canadian market.
286 for US market
It is one of only 300 cars in North America with Alcantara headliner

Cool thanks.. Alcantara headliner is growing on me.
Was LKSW leather the default for M5's back then? Mine has active seats, I saw another one with only air vented seats.
I wish mine has HUD

Yes, extended leather was standard. The other two choice for which you had to pay were, complete leather and perforated complete leather.
Interestingly, Alcantara headliner was only available with a complete leather interior in the US, I guess in Canada it was a standalone option.

Only 5,516 530i sedans with manual transmission were built between 2001 and 2003. In contrast, BMW built 50,919 automatic 530i.
Out of the 5,516 cars built, only 326 were sold in Canada.

The most rare option on this car is the option S676A -HiFi speaker system. It was installed on 2138 out of 7500 cars.
