Awesome indeed, hard to find an authentic, low mileage Dinan 5 in excellent condition, but would rather high mileage M5 for that money personally.

Bump though, it is a looker!

IF it was over 15 years old, you don't need the recall letters and such to get it across the border. This is a 1999 car though, not sure how he got 15 years old out of that. From my memory, this is what you would be looking at:

-6.1% duty
-Ontario sales tax
-Transportation costs
-Cost for recall letter and ODO/DRL conversion by BMW. I had a former american car before and I saw the bill for this: 600 dollars from BMW Halifax to go in with GT1 and toggle the option for KMs and DRLs. And they will insist that it MUST be done at a BMW dealer so you can't just go in with DIS to fix it.

Sorry I thought it was a 98. Either way it goes by production date and it is 2013 so it may be close .

If it is over 15 yrs you don't go through the RIV so you don't need proof of who did your DRL's etc. it just has to be done.

I brought my e46 from the states and just had the US dealer do the drl's before I picked it up. No one cared the mileage was in miles...
