I have 3 rears available, from a car with 62K Km, never seen salt. Were like new before car was rolled so they do have scratches and will need paint. No dents or cracks. Open to good offers only, not in a rush to sell.

Staggered or square 9.5" or all 8"
I seen staggered sets sell for $1000 ( refinished and tires with 80% thread), unfinished with no tires $550.
All 8" no tires $450

I would gladly buy a refinished staggered set of OEM M5 wheels with 80% tires for 1000$ locally.
I've been hunting like mad for a year to find one without tires in any condition for anything lower than 1000$ with no luck.
It is more like 13-2000$ for anything decent with good tires.

^Agreed. Show me sets w/o tires for $550 in decent condition and I'd gladly buy them. That's even less than a set of E46 17" sport rims go for... Lol.

Oh man - after reading some "other thread" ahem - at least two of you know what I'm talking about, I'm itching to try a square setup - esp since I need to buy rubber anyway.
Soooooo - I'll ask Empowered about two of the rears. I won't need my fronts anymore plus I have two 40% Pirelli P Zero Rosso for the front. Would either of you want those?

Check the m5 board a refinished set just sold with tires for $1000, ship it to the border and and pick it up. Unfinished sets have sold for $500 on the m5 and bimmerforums board. I've just been late seeing the ad. I don't need a clean set, I already have a square set up, there will be for spring and fall driving with winter tires

We are talking locally, not US. When you factor in time and gas to drive to border it is closer to the 13-1500 that I had originally said.
Have you priced out shipping charges on wheels lately? It is usually around 100-150 a wheel (even to the border) which works out to 1000+500(SH)=1500$
If you find a beat to shit set for 500$ you are still at around 1000$ by the time you get them which is what a beat up set sells for locally (is just harder to find the M5 wheels to begin with)

Are you giving the Pzero's away? if so, Ill take them....
talk to empowered about what, tires?
I'd gladly take you for a boot in my car with square set up at the next meet so you can somewhat compare.
And like I said in the other thread, even if you didn't care about the performance, the looks make it worthwhile if you want to keep your OEM wheels (which I absolutely love the look of).

I asked Empowered about the M5 rear WHEELS. I made him an offer - sight but he wants more $.
Did I misunderstand - weren't you looking for a staggered setup?
My idea is to sell my fronts and the Pzero to finance the wheels from Empowered...

Really, $500 extra for US, I must respectfully disagree I go to the border once every couple months to pick up parts for my e30 m3. It's 1 1/2hrs there in my VW it's not even $50 both ways in fuel. Rims shipped without tires are $100. Declare whatever value at the border. Max.$200 extra all in. If you're lucky to find a set in NYC it's even cheaper.
