2004 645ci cab performance shocks suggestions

Hey all, i was wondering if someone here will be able to tell me what brand of performance shocks i should get for my car. It is currently lowered with H&R springs with oem shocks.

Also a shop where i can purchase them. Thanks

I would go with the Bilstein Sport shocks if you want slightly stiffer than stock for a performance improvement, they are not harsh at all only slightly stiffer than OEM. These are designed for lowered cars.

The Bilstein HD are pretty much identical to OEM (20% stiffer but you will not notice) and are a good choice if comfort is more important to you.

Both go for about $700 for all 4 at Turner Motorsport in the US. Locally I know that RMP Motors carries these and will install them.

Personally I like Koni over Bilstein but I have not seen any Koni shocks for the E63/E64.

Other than Bilstein shocks and the Eibach or H&R springs, the only other suspension upgrades I've seen are KW V3, Bilstein PSS9 and H&R coilovers (crap).

RMP can probably order Koni for you but like I mentioned above, it probably makes no difference, Koni does not make any shocks for the 6 series apparently. Check out the Koni product finder - no 6ers in the list of BWMs.
