2005 X3 (E83) 2.5 mileage issues.

Our 2005 X3 2.5 sucks back 24 L/100km in the city, summer tires.
This seems rather extreme. Anyone else have similar results?
Hwy is 9.5 L/100km. 65,000 km's.

Hell NO! Either something is VERY wrong, or poor driving habits!!!

My supercharged 330ci gets about 12 (driving hard!), my Expedition does 17-18 with towing, maybe 20 in city. And my 740il 11.9L mixed...

I think it's a combo of poor in-city driving technique, and that the e86 2.5i is underpowered. That 2.5 is overworked in stop 'n go traffic.
