HID plug and play conversion

hey guys,

from what i can gather, i shouldn't be installing these in my car no? even though the headlights have a leveller i'll still be glaring the hell out of folk right?

i should just buy the whole new headlight with projectors if i want HIDs?

Technically yes, you should buy the projector as well.
I'm not sure how much they would cost for E36s, but it'll no doubt add to the cost quite significantly.

I'd get a 35w Canbus HID kit, aim the halogen housings a bit lower, and call it a day.
Add a matching kit for fogs, and lighting will be amazing. That's what I did to my winter beater.
