Thoughts on 128i

Wondering what's people opinions on the 128i series. Test drove it yesterday and compared to the 135i, it is slower in the sense that it doesn't give you that low end torque throw back. BUT! after driving it around on the 407 and really bringing it up to some illegal speeds and testing the car for a good 20 minutes, I did enjoy the drive and feel of the car performance wise.

Also, is there anything you can do to possibly get some torque from the car? maybe a few more ponies after owning it for a bit (the new car feel you get that fades).

Absolutely! Buy a 135....

Then boost that to 373hp/408 lb/ft torque with a Dinan upgrade...

There isn't much for the 128 except suspension and floor mats. Test drive the turbo and realize that even that will feel slow in short order!
