Anyone around Brampton have a SRS tool?
Need to diagnose an annoying problem. Airbag light comes on for 3 seconds, then off for 15 seconds. This cycle repeats. Had the dealer clear the codes a while back and it went away only to come back now.
PM me if you can help a brotha out

Airbags will never deploy when the system detects a fault for that exact reason. If there is something wrong in the system, it is designed to NOT deploy as a precaution for causing unnecessary harm.

I agree... but if you get into an accident, the airbags are supposed to deploy.
If you get a warning light doesn't that mean something is wrong?
Or are you saying by resetting it, your airbag will still deploy, regardless of what the problem was?
Just looked odd to me...
No disrespect intended...

I'm not just trying to clear it, I want to know what is triggering the fault and address it accordingly. The dealer attempted to diagnose but nothing came up so they reset it and it appeared to have been solved. I want to look into it further.
In an accident, all will be deployed if there's a fault in the system, regardless of which area of the car sustained an impact. At least that's my understanding of it based on what I've read.

It may not be the airbag at all. It could be sensor in the passanger seat...or other stuff.
What were the codes the dealer cleared?
