Reviving old post.....

Hey Wolf - please post a pic of the ACS car you fell in love with. I looked up some sweet ACS rides on the web. Just wondering which look you're going for.

Have you done any more to your car? Was it "nice" this year...for Christmas?

hey i have attached the 2 ACS pics but unfortunately the plans for the body kit have fallen and i was not able to get my hands on it
as of right now the only things i have not installed are the ACS exhaust and the suspension.
as far as body kit goes my friend found a cheap Hamann one in England that he send me for Christmas. Now i am just debating if i should continue the search for AC or just go ahead and put that one one and make kind of a cross )

also i have decided to remove all the badges and go with the carbon fiber bmw logo nothing else, just in case i dont go pure ACS

the black cars are the ACS the blue and white are Hamann and the other one is mine

It's getting there! Looks good.... Not a fan of the big license plate tho.... I like the new fogs and the super clean AE kit!

The ACS and Hamman pix all look good! Subtle and mean. I never liked the Non - Msport "Chin" on our cars. At certain angles, it looks wimpy. Adding something underneath gives it an aggressive look. I might have to agree with some of the other posters here. Stance would give it that final touch. I don't think your car is a "Sport" which would be lower by 25mm. The M5 is another 12mm lower than that (I think). Obviously, this mod is a huge expense for cosmetic reasons. Maybe one day your springs and shocks will die and you have no choice!

I blacked out all the chrome on my ex 540. I can tell you what I did if you're interested. It cost next to nothing -NO!- I didn't use a magic marker! Ok, maybe to touch up a couple of small spots

Hey thank you windwagen
Yes the fogs and all the lights wore expencive but i love them
The euro licence i have from back when i was in Romania so it had to find its way on my car here. Its not for everybody but i like it.
Yes the original bumper of the car was never the greatest and i also do not want to put the M bumper on, i want something more diferent and unique. The m bumper looks good but everybody uses it on m or non m cars its too common now
I think i will just go with the hamann kit and save my self the trouble

Also for the crome trim i kinda like it. It is not too much, the car is all black so a bit of accent here and there goes nice imo + my summer rims are same theam

I cant wait for the summer so we can finally get our cars looking good and finally come out and put a face to all the names

"Also for the crome trim i kinda like it."

That says it all - it's what you like that's important.

"I cant wait for the summer so we can finally get our cars looking good and finally come out and put a face to all the names"

Me too - my car is in storage for the winter. I suggested a meeting at Mosport or Cayuga on one of the threads under the 5 series section. I think I'm going to try to be a regular at Cayuga on Monday nights this year... I could use a lot more practice on the track.

I know your heart is in right place and you would like to have a unique car to drive around town or go to the meets, but donít turn it to a ghetto design kind of e39.
1. Suspension
2. wheels and tires
3. Engine upgrades so its not only show.
4. And other cosmetic mods if need it.

Cheers,

Sia

i dont get why everybody hates the euro plate
i love the look

Alpina man
no i do not want to make it ricey looking by any means just a bit more aggressive
