Where to get my Koni's Rebuilt...?
Howdy Guys,
Long story short... my Koni struts are completely toast... Good timing, considering I am about to put my car up for the winter... They aren't blown... Just seals are gone and leaky...
I know Koni can rebuild them... but they quoted me about $900+ Taxes +Shipping there and back...
The kit cost me $1400 so I don't think it would be worth it... So do you guys have any experiences getting shocks rebuilt or know anywhere locally that can do them for a few hundred bucks?
Opinions welcome  !

Unfortunately there isn't anyone local that I know of atleast. TcKline sent mine to True Choice in the states. Was around $200 per shock. (Double adjustable)

Didn't get them new... Hence the warranty is non-transferrable...
Ha I'm kinda of wondering if I should just cut my losses and get something else...

If you were to pay $900, it wouldnt be worth it. If i was you, Id buy some new ones with the warranty.

Keep in mind, after I had mine rebuilt, they covered any future problems.

Don't ship them out. There's someone completely capable to rebuild them properly and test them (with his shock dyno) locally. He rebuilds all the good stuff daily for race teams (Motons, Ohlins, Mulitmatics...). Highly recommend Peter!
