Need advice/help regarding 2003 M3...
Hi guys,
I found a 2003 M3 155 000km's +, for $13000 and am interested in possibly getting it.
Any thoughts, info, feedback? Price good? Bad? etc
I never owned a BMW before so I need as much info as possible.

It's obviously a very good price, but I'd be careful! There's a reason it's only that much!
Make sure you know about previous accidents, current issues, cleanliness, etc
Any pix?

Dealer says clean title and CARPROOF VERIFIED, I saw it and it does look really clean. It's just a too good to be true price isn't it? I was looking around and similar cars go for quite a bit more.
I don't get it, what's the catch. I just don't trust car dealerships.

take it to RMP or somewhere to get checked out first...
Is there any info that says where it was serviced? (service records)
$13K for a M3 is a crazy good price... in fact a STEAL of a DEAL if its in good condition.
Think about it this way... i bought my 2003 325i for $10K with 135,000 km... so to get an M3 for $3k more... DANG!

check it out yourself. My brother in law purchased an '04 with 160K for $11,000 last year. The car was in great condition and anly needed OFHG.
Its possible sometimes.
He sold it this year for $15000.. still a decent deal.

Yeah I think the only way I would feel confident is to take the car to a good BMW mechanic for thorough inspection, is RMP in Etobicoke at 12 Goodmark Place?

Yes. Bimmersport can also do an inspection for you if you're closer to Mississauga.

Try to find the service history. Want to make sure the 1,200mile tune up was done by BMW. Also when was the last valve adjustment(s). Check rear subframe. Has the cooling system been changed at that high mileage? Is there vanos noise?
I am sure RMP will know to check all that stuff if you take it there.

1,200 k check?? this car has 155,000 now. Find this immaterial.
Get it checked out by one of the shops mentioned and if it checks out enjoy your bargain. M3's are getting too cheap

Basically its a great deal if its in pretty good condition... I would suspect there is still work that needs to be done, but even if you need to put $2k into it, its still a great deal. Just get it checked out and verify it IS an M3... And then pick me up for a drive! :p

It is a good deal but now a days you can find many m3's for that price. IF this is NOT good dont be worried, youll find another soon!

is this the m3 at the pontiac dealer?
if so..its an smg car...id definitely want it checked out because replacing parts for that is costly
