Angel eyes to Demon's Eyes

so i am planing on switching my current white angel eyes ( one has stopped working fully and another is only half working) and i want to get them from white to red.
now i know in some places they are illegal but what about Ontario.
i do not worry about them during the day as i do not have any day time running lights, i can shut them down completely. But at night when the HID's are on you will be able to see them a little bit.
will that be illegal and possibly getting me in to trouble ?

I'm pretty sure it will just come down to how much of a dick the cop is and how bored they are. It's like pulling someone over for having a loud exhaust when its not really that loud. They are just doing something for the sake of doing it.

Hell, if some ricers can drive around with HID's bright enough that they are blue, you should be able to run with red angel eyes. At least the red angel eyes won't completely blind the people infront of you or in opposing traffic like these people with 20000k bulbs. Now they should be pulled over and ticketed.

yes that is what im thinking too like during the day they will not be on any way and at night there is no way they will be brighter than my HID's in order to create any confusion
I just absolutely love the look of the red demon eyes on a all black e39

well technically those high K hid bulbs are not bright. 4200kish gives out the most lumens.

those dolts running hid kids in halogen housings should be ticketed for sure(incl all the bmw guys doing it too. there are a lot) glares all over the place.

Worst case scenario its a 100$ ticket. You won't be going to jail.
Your euro plate is 10X more illegal. I've had my plates consfiscated and car towed on the spot for a e3uro plate years ago by a fat, old asshole of a cop.
Cost me over 600$ after all the tickets were paid and car awas collected. I was 19?ish, it hurt.
