As described - looking for an engine for a coffee table project, so it doesn't need to run. Really I only need the bottom end.
Not looking to spend a ton of money, so if someone knows where I can get one, let me know!

There is a E32 750il at Mike's Auto Parts in Hamilton. The valve covers have been off for a long time so any hope of using the top end is pretty much over, but the block might be good.

However my GF and I are building a house this fall/winter, and she's agreed (provided it's nice and clean and polished) to put it in the living room

Sorry Shawn.
I don't understand how helping a friend with a part is a problem when I have access to it. I could understand if I was posting for sale ads and whoring the "Looking For" section. This is a single case and I'm out to help a friend, not making sales for Tom.
I'll take your advice on advertising though.
