Jay, is it rain or shine? The weather looks like it could be a coin toss Friday night.

Pretty sure it's rain or shine. I remember doing one in the rain back when he still had his M3. If I recall correctly, it was the night before I sold my E36. Damn that was years ago...

If I recall, a couple years ago we had rain dates (usually the week after) but I guess they were problematic because some people have to book off work for these events.

well i had my heart set on attending my first maxbimmer cruise but after driving home from work the yesterday i popped my hood to see if my supercharger was leaking oil from the rear main seal or any other issues as part of my after driving routine. thankfully it wasn't leaking a drop. Then my line of sight continued throughout the engine bay where i began to notice a shit load of belt shavings scattered around the supercharger. The belt is making contact somewhere, most likely while driving WOT or the belt debris is being caused by the belt slipping witch i really doubt. Anyways Im not going to risk my s/c belt snapping/breaking during the cruise or during my daily drives to work. ( carpooling yay! ) So I'm out of commission until I further diagnose the issue and buy a replacement s/c belt. I know, I know you're all devastated that i won't be making it but seriously its a bummer that I can't/shouldn't make it out for the sake of my chariot....
have fun and drive safe, are there any more cruises this year?

Yea for the major cruises, not the midnight runs... I could be wrong, though.

See y'all tmrw night!
According to the Weather Network, it says "chance of thunder-showers". That's during the day, so hopefully if it does rain (I certainly hope not) it will clear out by the evening/night when the cruise starts.
