I need some suggestions from you audiophiles on what single DIN I should look into for replacing my stock deck. The car has full HK sound system so I need something with enough pre outs to retain the stock amp. I was told I could bypass the amp but I won't be able to turn up the volume because it will blow the speakers. What do you guys think of the Alpine CDE-136BT? Something with bluetooth streaming and iPhone connectivity is preferred.
I was at 2001 audio today and one of the guys suggested that deck. I'm not sure I could give up cd's though.. I bought a cde-133bt but I need to return it tomorrow because it only has 1 pre out. I need 3 to retain the factory amp otherwise I risk blowing the speakers by bypassing it. These new units seem like they suck compared to alpines older stuff...
I have a JVC Arsenal series, it's pretty awesome for the money ($250 or so at 2001). I can't remember the model but it's all black and can get the colours to match perfectly.
