So Bimmerspecialist is gone apartently

Seems they were sold to Pelicanparts.

Sucks for us Canadians because we now have to pay brokerage fees and higher shipping rates.

Why in the world would they do this.

Anyone know where we can get parts from now?

Went to order parts form them a couple weeks ago, web site links were a mess too. Try www.autopartsway.com or Mike at Maranello BMW is also supposed to be good with pricing.

Their service started to suck recently anyways. They sent me a wrong part and wanted me to pay to ship it to a US warehouse.

Wasn't planning to use them again unless I had too.

I would be led to believe that most people who own a business aspire to get the attention of the big guys, sell it to them and live the rest of their days on a yacht.

I really like Pelican Parts service better than Bimmerspecialist. I thought their shipping was hella slow and the delivery was also quite timely. Pelican Parts usually ships same day and even with the free ground shipping the parts I order are in michigan usually in 3 days.

What I really wonder here is if this gives Pelican Parts access to Bimmerspecialist's preferred brokerage/duty rates. Would be nice to ship my parts into Ontario instead of shipping to Michigan.

derp could also be you referring to bimmerspecialist as herp derps for selling their business. Which is what it looked like you were saying.
