Part of the reason for no cars being lined up is that people aren't aware of who is out marshalling. For example, if cars 1-5 are lining up and cars 6-10 are marshalling, cars 11 and up will think they have time to kill before their run even if they are paying attention to the numbers of the cars that are lining up. Considering that we had a smaller group this time and that run times were around a minute for this event, I think thinks went fairly well. Having the timing tent away from things and posting the times definitely helped.

We will develop a system to display what are the next car numbers so those in the paddock can see who's up next. I'm very please with how Sunday went, only a couple of times did we have an empty line. All in all it went very smoothly. And thankfully timing was working almost perfectly! In total of 140 runs only 8 timing malfunctions. Next event we'll get better for sure!

Everyone also note that the next event is on a Saturday, NOT Sunday. We run on Saturday October 27th at the Powerade Centre. Be there at 9am for registration, 9:30 mandatory drivers meeting, and first car away at 10am sharp. If you show up after 9:30 you will not be able to register until after 10am and may miss your first run. See you all soon!

The event was a ton of fun. Luckily a few friends got some good photos from the event. Some really good sequences and 3 wheelin in the Golf.
