E9X M3 OEM Muffler Delete by Bimmersport Automotive

Hello board,

We did the famous OEM Exhaust mod to M3post member "RO_TURBO"s mint Mineral White E93 M3. I must say this modification sounds amazing, and exotic like. The installation can be done a few ways. Our method was similar to AUTOcouture's method except we did it slightly different.

This is a muffler bypass, it just goes straight from the resonator in the midsection to the tips...there is nothing done to the midsection or cats at all. There is no real power gains as stock muffler is VERY efficient.

Why not delete the muffler completely and just run a pipe directly to the tips? That will lose the extra weight.

The only advantage this has is it being more stealth 'looking', but they'll still hear you coming.

On a car with 2000miles on it...this looks much more pleasing and is *a bit* easier when going into the dealer for scheduled maintenance. That only advantage is the reason why we do this..

Even guys with older BMW's still do this mod, looks much cleaner than 2 pipes.
