M50 Manifold and Alcon BBK installed

So, I couldn't wait until spring. Since the weather is still nice for me to drive the car to the shop and get this done, then wash, then tuck her away for couple of months. I would like to share this to fellow forum members. Performed the M50 manifold upgrade and installed a set of Alcon BBK.

What do you think of the m50 manifold? Did you get a chance to take it on the highway and test it out?

m50 manifold is a worthy upgrade for sure!

without a tune you do lose a lttle mid range punch but you make up for it on the top end for sure. instead of wondering when the rev limiter comes... you just want to keep revving.

^ yeah, I pretty much hate that the s52 falls flat on it's face at ~5500 rpm (well, it doesn't make anymore power, just tapers off). The down-low torque is great though, has me second guessing it. I'll just leave the m52 manifold until the spring and then go m50 manifold.

lol, yea. The seller was also very helpful. eventhough, I did have to make some adjustments to get the rear caliper bracket to fit on, but overall, a very nice kit.

hi steve, after the install i took it to a back straight and ran it couple of times in 3rd because i was also trying to adjust my boost. I have to say i am very impress with this manifold upgrade, the car revs a lot smoother and as "Sir" mentioned, you just want to keep revving lol.

I toyed with the idea of picking up that kit. but dont think it wouldve fit under my oem wheels.

sure is a badass kit.

Power wise the manifold is the best bang for the buck imho(for a stock-minor bolt ons car). Even boosted cars is a great idea. the m52/s52 is just to restrictive on the top end.
