clutch master cylinder replace
Just replaced the clutch MC. Have to say it was much easier than I thought it would be. Other than dropping a nut behind the carpet this would have taken about an hour including the contortions to get the switch brackets back on.
I pinched off the hose from the brake reservoir to the MC, put down a layer of plastic under the MC, lots of rags, then pull the two clips holding the connectors in. Pulled the connector that goes to the slave, and bit of fluid runs out. Then simply pull the MC out, replace, do the contortionist thing to get the bolts back in.
Bleeding was equally easy, just gravity bled it at the slave. Don't be surprised that the clutch goes right to the floor though. Pumped it about 10 times and the pedal comes right up.
