i dont understand how a top gear ep that within 2 minutes from the start drag races a 959 against an F40 deserves complaints. Then again, i get defensive about my top gear.

the 458 was last year August 1, 2010 season 15 episode 6, the GT3 RS not really sure when, but that's a older vehicle, they brought it back out for season 15 episode 7, that was aired on December 21, 2010.

the 997.2 RS? God, where is my memory going.... I'll take your word for it. Anyway, I have a love/hate relationship with Top Gear. It's become extremely popular in the uk and to me, has become less of a car show as a result. The 'races' are pretty inane, who cares if an XJ can travel to a certain place before the sun rises? I'd rather see a side by side review with an S Class or something....
the show is still entertaining, don't get me wrong. I watch every episode. But Clarkson irritates me with his opinions on cars a lot.
Although the top gear USA show hosts could learn a LOT from clarkson on how to have personality.
I'd still prefer Martin Brundle or Alain de Cadanet especially.

As far as I can remember, their "testing" has always been clips of Clarkson and Hammond drifting supercars around the track and then seeing how fast they can really go with the stig driving...which they do with every new car they test so what more do you want?
Top gear is awesome because of the budget, they can do some pretty incredible trips. That's what keeps me watching, not for facts and figures.
Have they done the new gt2 rs yet? Amazing car
