USA-Spec in Toronto or Ottawa?

I'm going to to be passing through the Toronto area just after christmas and I'd like to stop and pick up a USA-Spec DSP kit for my 530i.

I read on here that there is a place thats cheaper than Matrix Trading(the official distributor), But I haven't been able to find a place on the web that carries it.

And if anyone know a place in Ottawa that would be even better, then I can ge tit done BEFORE my 2000+km trip.

I have a DICE from my e46 but I don't want to spend another $150+ for the DSP adapter and cables.

I just use an FM adapter....I looked into the dice units and the USA Spec but I didn't want to pay the extra because of the DSP.

Is that your ad on Usedottawa? I think I just e-mailed you...crap, if it doesn't work with DSP, guess I'll keep looking passively.

*according to crutchfield, we need the pa-12. Damn.

once you plug the ipod into the usa spec, you won't ever think of FM transmission again.

The one I have, I can plug a regular AUX and the ipod cable.

We actually need the PA12-BMW-DSP

Crutchfield has it at $199+tax with free shipping. $30 cheaper than Matrix Trading.

Sorry, I mis-read your post about the dice and the ipod and thought you were selling the Dice unit.

Anyway, got in touch with the seller on Usedottawa and he has a pa10 with upgraded s/w to a pa11. Not sure what the benefit is but I know it won't work. If we didnt' have DSP, pretty sure that would work.

Turns out it's the same guy I bought rims from a few years back...small BMW community in Ottawa!
