Oh my goodness -- I'm terribly sorry for your loss. I only knew of Mike through his posts, but those posts revealed him as a good natured, easy-going and smart guy. My sincere condolences to his girlfriend, parents and other family.

Very, very sorry to hear this but did the doctors miss the bleeding when he was admitted? I was very hopeful after reading that he was stable and didn't need surgery in the first post. I'm now sitting here in disbelief as I read the words "passed away".
My heart goes out to his family as I know this feeling all too well. RIP Mike.

Mike was one of the most passionate BMW owners I have ever met,- it was because of him, his unbiased opinion, his zest for life and his easy going personality that made me fall in love with BMW's.
The first time I met him he had just started working at BMW London, I pulled in with a rusty Jeep to go window shopping & he offered me a coffee... 6 month's later I stopped in again and he still remembered my name! I was floored, especially since I had just come from the Mercedes dealer up the street who had the gall to ask me not to park in the front of the lot with my TJ.
... a few years, many beers and a crap load of test drives later... he sold me a 540i a Z4 and an X5.
But through it all he never stopped pushing me to start the airport auto events here at James T Field Memorial Airport last year,- thanks to his constant late night excursions to Runway 10/28 to challenge me in the Z4 or the 635csi... we finally decided to host these events!
It will not be the same without him! So we have decided to dedicate these future events to him, so we can keep his memory and his passion alive...
Mike will be missed and never forgotten! Our heart felt sorrow and prayers go to Barry and Joan, you should never have to go through the pain of loosing your son...
