only the north american community because ppl don't understand that in europe there are many factory BMWs that come with //M badges as they have been upgraded with some BMW motorsport parts. it should only be frowned upon if a non M car puts M3, M5, M6 etc. on their car when its not one of those...but a 3-series with just an //M badge does dot mean its an M3.
