So thought I better update the thread with what's been going on....
Finally got the matching springs in the rear of the car, so now the car has proper
matched spring rates, and installed a used set of Boge rear shocks, and the cars feeling much better. The rear sub frame bushings are getting bad, so looking into some poly bushings and hoping to upgrade the rear control arms while I have it apart.
Also got a chip for the car, since I was so impressed by the Mark D chip I had in the e30, it was an easy decission on which chip to go with. Mark D's tunes are second to none, and must say I am more then impressed with his OBD1 chip for the 325is. The jump in torque is more then noticable through the entire rpm band, and the 7200 redline will be more then helpful at this weekends autocross.

are u planning to reinforce the subframe? because i was told that putting stiffer bushings would put alot of stress on it...unno if its true thou.

Powerflex has both a street and race set of bushings and I decided to go with the street ones cause the car is my daily driver. I will be giving the subframe a good once over for any cracking or signs of wear. Eventually I will be welding in the reienforcements, but more worried right now about the spot where the mounting bolts attach to the floor getting messed up with worn bushings.
Even with rubber bushings, many people weld in reinforced plates on subfames. It is more from lateral forces on the subframe under heavey side load during cornering. The harder you can corner the greater the loads are which are more affected by suspension and tires then the bushings used.
On a side note, no more elephant ear mirrors, picked up a set of racing dynamic cup mirrors, was going to get M3 mirrors, but the RD mirrors le the car stand out and have a great look.

Started on the rear sub frame job this week. Dropped the whole rearend out and 2 of the mounting points from the car floor came out with the subframe. Was kinda expecting this as it's common to happen.
So to fix this and prevent it from happening again, I've ordered the M3 reinforcement plates for the mounting points on the floor, Turner actually has a kit that also comes with sub frame and shock tower reinforcemnts so I figured might as well do it all while it's out.
Also ordered stainless steel brake lines from turner, I've got to drop the gas tank to weld in reinforcement plates so goint to replace all the lines while it's out.
When it's all said and done car will be solid and able to handle the track and autocross use planned for it.
Anyone who has an e36 they are tracking or driving very hard should look into installing the M3 plates !!!!

How did you get the discount? I sent you a PM regarding your SSK last week, haven't heard anything back. Looking for a detailed parts list of what's included and for what cost so that I know what I need to buy to complete my 5spd swap.
