LF: E30 drivers door lock assembly
Would anyone have a door lock ass lying around they didn't want. it seems mine is partially jammed as it works to open the car from both handles but when I try to push the button down it doesn't budge down or up. Even after disconnecting the actuator. why I believe it is bad is that my car can lock from the drivers door but not unlock. something is missing from the assembly.
Have already changed the actuator but no luck.
someone's gotta have a parts car with some doors on it! LOL

already sold the driver's door lock, but would there be any parts in common with the passenger side? I've still got that one.

Dude... I went on this mission a year ago.
Almost all the ones I saw were junk. I was envious when Rudi came over and his drivers door shut like silk.
BMW sells only the driver's side central lock version new. Get this... $300.
I'm going to spring for it, because there will come a day when the lock won't work and it will be nearly impossible to get this part.
To date it is the only part that is the biggest PITA to find in decent condition.

Rebuild kits have everything you need to restore the locks to great condition. Much cheaper than a fully built lock!
