Tire setup, bbs style 5's on lowered e36

What's the best tire size i could run with the style five's, with a 1.5 drop all around, i heard the size's that would fit would be fine for daily driving but not great for the track,
any suggestions?

Um. I was talking to you, with the staggered rears.

For the regular 17x8 setup that everyone runs, you don't need to do anything besides get 74mm->72.6mm hub rings, roll the rear fenders, and run 205/45 or 215/40 tires.
