e36 side skirt help

hey i have a 1995 318i E36 from the first half of 1995 and my side skirts are rusted they are the non plastic ones is it possible to remove the side skirts or are the part of the car?

I dont think you have sideskirts. You must be thinking of the rocker panels

^ it's true... unfortunately your rockers are rusting... gotta love car cancer, i've just notice a dab of it on my rear fender... bring it to a body shop when you've got a little extra cash, or try a simple fix before full paint job.
