This sounds like a great option if that $85 is a $tealer price. Can you identify exactly which Z4 parts are needed from www.realoem.com?

Just go at the stealer and buy shifter kit. It's the shifter and a small box with all the component you need.

so i went to the stealer and inquired on this z4 shifter and they told me just the shifter "poll" is $139 +tax. (bmw of toronto) went to bmw of mississauga and they said the same thing!! which dealer did u go to and got it for $85? seriously i want to buy one and if i get it for that price its a hell of alot cheaper than b&m uuc etc....

I had a Z3M with all new bushings for just over $100 from Pelican. New bitch clip included. Thank goodness.

If you get the OEM short shifter just make sure you buy aftermarket delrin bushings for the carrier itself bc after time you will get alot of slop when you shift.
